Fergie attends ASCAP’s 25th Annual Pop Music Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday.
Fergie’s hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and Gwen Stefani’s “The Sweet Escape” tied for song of the year.
She said:
“To get any honor in that room is something very special,” she said. “Songwriting is an expression of your soul, so to be honored as a writer feels like an approval of your soul.”
